Compensation & Benefits LeadThe Opportunity
The Compensation and Benefits Lead will serve as the point of contact for People Business Partners and Business Leadership on compensation, incentive schemes and the benefits program across all KBR Australia business lines.
You will lead market intelligence activities, including the submission of salary surveys, compensation benchmarking and analysing data to populate KBR Australia’s job pricing database.
In conjunction with People Business Partners and Business Unit (BU) Leads, you will design project specific performance and retention incentive plans, as well as support global initiatives including the Annual Salary Review and incentive nominations processes. A key focus will be providing guidance on the uplift of KBR Australia’s compensation and benefits offering, ensuring compliance with local legislative requirements where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
Leadership
Support the change management process and associated activities for the transformation program to be delivered.
Provide direction, advice, guidance, and leadership to People Business Partners and the wider business.
Drive continuous improvement and coach the team in a customer service mindset ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy.
Compensation & Benefits
Work with the global compensation team and the local People team to design compensation and benefits solutions for employees.
Participation in various project work and testing including global Workday maintenance
Providing input into bids and proposals, specifically to respond to requests for internal and external compensation and benefits data and associated questions
Participate in salary surveys in conjunction with the global compensation team
Manage KBR Australia’s employee benefit framework and benefits administration
Communicate with employees and management through the update of People policies, maintenance of internal People website and other internal comms channels.
Manage the MSR and ASR processes for Australia
Employee Data & Reporting
Oversee compensation data and record management including regular data audits, ensuring the highest standards of data protection and integrity.
Identify the root cause of data issues and solutions to address going forward.
Produce compensation reports and analytics as required.
Governance and Compliance
Ensure process controls are adhered to, to achieve the required governance and compliance with company and legal requirements.
Provide input into people policies and procedures and support maintenance.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline (desirable)
Experience in a People function, preferably with in a shared service or operational support environment
Demonstrated experience in a specialised compensation and benefits role
Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing tasks and stakeholder expectations.
Strong people systems experience and knowledge and intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft suite.
Demonstrated reporting, metrics and analytic experience.
Strong relationship management and communication skills, and a demonstrated commitment to a customer service mindset
