Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception Services in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Manage front-desk access activities by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests in accordance with established site requirements.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and assigned systems to help identify and report unusual or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
