This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. - Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points within a residential location, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access through assigned access control procedures.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the community, common areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, and/or contractor activity, and provide clear directions and information while supporting property rules and community expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is required.
- A guard card is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
