Job Summary

Success in this role requires strong business and financial acumen, product and/or product development experience, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to independently advance workstreams in a global environment with limited oversight. This position is designed to be a high-value extension of the North American Product Management organization, enabling Product Managers to focus on strategic priorities, customers, and growth.

Industry experience in lighting is not required. Candidates with experience in product management, product development, product marketing, category management, engineering, or business analysis are encouraged to apply.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Support North American Product Managers in managing assigned product categories, with a primary focus on Lighting Controls and connected solutions.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Analyze product, portfolio, pricing, and profitability performance; recommend actions to improve growth and margins.
• Drive portfolio optimization through SKU rationalization, lifecycle management, and product phase-in/phase-out activities.
• Support new product introductions, product launches, and commercialization efforts.
• Develop business cases and data-driven recommendations for product, pricing, and portfolio decisions.
• Translate customer, market, and competitive insights into actionable recommendations and value propositions.
• Support sales enablement and go-to-market activities through training materials, launch content, and product communications.
• Maintain accurate product, portfolio, forecast, pricing, and performance reporting.
• Support forecasting, business planning, and performance reviews through data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute product initiatives and resolve business challenges.
• Independently deliver high-quality analysis, presentations, and recommendations with minimal oversight.

Critical Experiences

·       Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

·       3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, Product Marketing, Category Management, Business Analysis, or a related role.

·       Experience with product lifecycle management, including new product launches, portfolio optimization, and product rationalization.

·       Strong experience in market research, competitive analysis, and developing data-driven business recommendations.

·       Experience analyzing product, pricing, profitability, and portfolio performance to support business decisions.

Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams and independently drive work to completion.
