- 18+ years of age
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and airport stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout airport terminals, public areas, access points, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures, verifying authorized entry and reporting access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and site-specific response protocols.
- Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
