Description

Manage complex Professional Liability claims throughout the full claims lifecycle, including investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution.

Analyze policy provisions and supporting documentation to identify applicable coverage and potential coverage concerns.

Evaluate liability, damages, and overall claim exposure to establish appropriate reserves and settlement strategies.

Oversee litigated claims while coordinating with defense counsel, investigative resources, clients, and other involved parties.

Review case developments and provide recommendations regarding claim strategy and resolution.

Prepare detailed claim reports outlining exposure, liability considerations, damages, and recommended next steps.

3-5+ years of Professional Liability claims handling experience preferred.

Prior experience managing complex and/or litigated liability claims.

Strong understanding of coverage analysis, liability evaluation, reserving, negotiation, and settlement practices.

Familiarity with litigation procedures and evaluating claim exposure across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ability to independently manage a complex caseload and competing priorities.

$110,000 - $125,000 (depending on experience) plus annual bonus
