The Services Senior Director for the India GDC is a critical services delivery role for driving the buildout of the Hyderabad India based services teams, skillsets, tools, methods and processes to engage on Grid Software Projects across all our Grid Software products. This position is responsible for driving India GDC based talent acquisition, talent management, monitoring global demand, forecasting and managing project staffing in coordination with global teams. This role will also be engaged with other service line leaders in building methods, processes and tools to allow for a blended delivery model with India based, highly utilized Best Cost talent to continue the global shift to optimized delivery. The ideal candidate will bring deep familiarity with global services delivery, the ability to function in a matrixed environment and collaborate across various global functions, including global service lines, project portfolio, product, engineering, commercial and financial teams. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate a proven ability to drive impactful results including driving efficiency and productivity with AI, innovation and talent focused plans.

Job Description: Senior Director, India Global Delivery Center (GDC) - Services Leader

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the continued buildout of the India GDC Services team, ensuring alignment with business objectives while driving project delivery excellence across all regions. 
• Monitor key delivery metrics, identify gaps, and recommend actionable improvements to enhance India GDC and global services performance. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through Lean principles, while collaborating closely with multiple GEV stakeholders.
• Manage the GDC India demand planning processes in collaboration with the Service Line Leaders, Regional Portfolios and Services Operations teams, integrating advanced analytics and forecasting tools to optimize resource allocation and labor planning. Partner with vendors to expand skill or innovation capabilities to meet project requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between product, engineering, and support teams within the Hyderabad Technology Center to drive co-innovation and speed up the product development and support lifecycle. Ensure financial considerations are integrated into operational decision-making. Foster a high-performance culture through talent acquisition and management initiatives, including structured development plans, mentorship programs, internship programs, training and competency development.
• Act as deputy site leader and on-site proxy for the Hyderabad Technology Site Leader, ensuring effective on-site leadership, stakeholder coordination and timely escalation of site level priorities.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in service delivery or consulting/professional services organizations, with demonstrated work experience in Global Delivery Centers in a team leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
• Proven track record of driving services delivery, project execution and services talent management in a matrixed organization.
• Strong understanding of Lean principles and their application in service delivery environments.

Preferred:

• Energy and Utility industry experience and knowledge.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including Utility customers and GEV partners.
• Knowledge of Grid Software Services, project management, reporting and budgeting.
