Join the Group Financial Reporting & Analysis (FR&A) team and help shape the financial future of CommBank.
The purpose of the role is to help deliver the Group's investment reporting and governance agenda, providing insightful analysis that supports investment decision-making across the Group. You'll help oversee the Group's investment portfolio, contribute to the allocation of the Group's investment funding, and provide reporting and analysis that informs senior executive decision making.

The Group Financial Reporting & Analysis (FR&A) team provides financial support and strategic insight to the CEO, CFO, Executive Leadership Team and Board.
The team is responsible for:
- Investment Reporting & Analysis - oversight of the Group's investment portfolio and capital allocation
- Planning and forecasting – ownership of the Group’s Planning & Forecasting process, strategic and ad-hoc analysis
- Performance reporting – performance analysis and monthly management reporting
- Decision support - strategic projects, commercial analysis and insight development
This opportunity sits within the Investment Reporting & Analysis team, with a particular focus on delivery of the Group’s internal investment financial reporting deliverables.
Your impact
Reporting to the Senior Manager, you'll help deliver the Group's investment reporting & analysis agenda through insightful analysis and strong stakeholder partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver Group-wide investment spend reporting, including managing the end-to-end Interlock governance process to align investment demand, funding and delivery capacity across the Group
- Partner with Finance and Group Strategy business stakeholders to support the allocation of the Group’s ~$2.4bn investment envelope each year
- Prepare investment reporting and analysis for inclusion in the Group's half-year and full-year Profit Announcements
- Partner with Finance and Business Unit stakeholders to influence investment decisions and drive better commercial outcomes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across our reporting processes
- Manage multiple deliverables and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Contribute to a strong, collaborative team culture and uphold CommBank’s Code of Conduct
We're interested in hearing from people who have
- CA or CPA qualifications
- Strong analytical, problem solving and commercial skills
- A curious and questioning mindset, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and solve complex problems
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across Finance and Business teams
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement
- A proactive, self-starting approach and a track record of driving outcomes independently
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Tableau, Alteryx or Power BI would be advantageous but isn't essential
