What You’ll Do
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing general accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, preparing financial reports, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role works closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
Prepare and record journal entries.
Analyze financial data and investigate variances.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset transactions for accuracy.
Maintain and improve accounting processes and procedures.
Mentor junior accounting staff and provide technical guidance.
Collaborate with departments to resolve accounting issues and improve financial reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA designation preferred.
5–8 years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with financial statement preparation.
Knowledge of internal controls and audit procedures.
Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
Process improvement and automation experience.
Leadership or supervisory experience.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $86,000-$100,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
