Title and Summary
Accountant1. Job OverviewResponsible for managing direct and indirect tax compliance, accounting, reconciliations, and statutory reporting activities. Ensures compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal control requirements while supporting audits and process improvement initiatives.
2. Major Accountabilities
• Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including tax payments, filings, and reporting.
• Perform accounting entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Prepare and review tax provisions, tax reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Support statutory, internal, and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, tax laws, and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and tax authorities.
• Drive process automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Education
• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
4. Knowledge / Experience
• Experience in direct tax, indirect tax, accounting, and finance operations.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations, statutory compliance, and financial accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in a multinational environment preferred.
