The Clinical Services Manager in Colorado Springs, CO serves as a vital link between the larger vision of the organization and the delivery of effective, efficient, high-quality patient care, in addition to assuring the ongoing competence of clinical staff. This position is vested with independent decision-making authority to implement strategies, programs, and patient care consistent with CPIhealth’s policies, goals, and the company’s vision to achieve excellence in delivering care to our patients.

The purpose of this position is to supervise the clinical processes and requirements for the clinical and scribe departments. This position will also serve as a utility clinical player to staff the department as needed and supervise individuals to provide goal-directed care through the use of clinical processes and the principles of CPIhealth’s company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Enhances communications and collaboration with medical staff throughout areas of clinical responsibility.
• Responsible for continuously improving staff, patient, and physician satisfaction.
• Assures quality patient care that is focused on best practice.
• Develop and monitor departmental strategic planning including staffing, fiscal management, goals and objectives.
• Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators.
• Responsible for developing clinic education and training programs to ensure appropriate knowledge and execution of all clinical functions performed within CPIhealth.
• Accountability for the achievement of efficiency in clinical productivity benchmarks with attention to productivity and resource utilization.
• Hire, train, and mentor staff in conjunction with the Human Resources department.
• Develop and enhance staffing plans to support CPIhealth’s goals.
• Implement performance management systems including objective goal-orientated appraisals and timely feedback to enhance staff.
• Supervise all aspects of corrective action, provide information on leaves of absence, and terminations.
• Ensure credentials, training, health and HR files of staff and providers are up-to-date and manage employee timekeeping system.
• Responsible for providing leadership, staff development, and management of key services in accordance with policies and procedures and current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Create, monitor, and adjust all employee schedules to match FTE requirements for providers on a daily basis.
• Make necessary center personnel and supply adjustments to optimize efficiencies in collaboration with the Regional Operations Director.
• Facilitate medication management protocols and processes as deployed across the organization.
• Establish, monitor, and maintain policies and procedures for the clinical support staff.
• Maintain and supervise all training, certifications, licenses, and compliance requirements in collaboration with CPIhealth managers.
• Perform all quality management, infection control, and incident report management for the clinical care environment pertaining to clinic and scribe teams.
• Participates and maintains the safety and dignity of the patient at all times.
• Creates collaborative relationships within the department and throughout CPIhealth organization.
• Effectively communicates with all providers and staff members.
• Helps support corporate Quality Assurance initiatives as requested by the Director of Quality Services and Compliance.
• Support CPIhealth managers on all clinical inputs necessary to best manage the site and ensure positive clinical outcomes
• Supervises Waived testing at sites where the Medical Director is named on the CLIA certificate. In addition, supervises and assesses completion of training and competency testing as directed by the organization’s education department.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the mission, values, and strategies of CPIhealth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferred.
• 2 years of health care management experience preferred.
• BLS certified or must obtain certification within three months of hire.
• Must demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Able to commute 4 days to the Colorado Springs clinic and 1 day to the Denver clinic per week.
• Strong organizational, judgment, communication, and analytical skills; sometimes under pressure.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to multi-task and perform multiple priorities.
• Cooperative and professional behavior toward patients, peers, providers, management, and visitors.

Salary: $80k+ Depending on Experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm
