Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

Job Overview

The Supervisor serves to lead any department. This position advocates continuousimprovement by ensuring a safe work environment, quality assurance, productivity, and a Marvin values-ledpeople environment within their department. This position is responsible for leading, developing, training,directing, and motivating their department.

Your schedule and Pay:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00AM - 3:00PM

Overtime may be required during business season.

• Holds high expectations of direct reports to promote Marvin values, including great teamwork, positive attitudes, success in a fast-paced environment; promotes this throughout all areas of the company.• Leads and manages associate's day to day performance and development opportunities. Builds relationships and sense of team/work family.• Resolves associate issues as they occur and administers fair and consistent discipline.• Practices and creates a positive values-led work environment, making Marvin a great place to work, which positively impacts business results, such as lowering turnover.• Conducts department performance reviews, including appraisals and disciplines, by providing formative feedback.• Works with Assistant Supervisor to maintain a work environment that promotes success and surpasses company goals.• Responsible for cross training, line balance, and has strong problemsolving skills; is able to work through obstacles and meet departmentgoals.• Communicates effectively with internal customers, peers, associates.• Mentors and develops the assistant supervisor for roles of increasedresponsibility• Maintains necessary paperwork and documentation• Creates a safe work environment as measured by OSHA incident rateand other company safety metrics

• Promotes, meets and maintains Quality measures• Other duties as assigned

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• Supervisory experience preferred.• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have ability touse Microsoft Office• High School Diploma required
