Salary Range Utility Plant Operator $56,763.84 - $79,469.37 (DOQ)
Utility Worker I
Education, Training, and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Licenses and Certifications:
- A valid State driver's license is required at the time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Class "D" Water Works License & Class "I" Wastewater Collection License issued by TCEQ within 12 months of hire
Utility Worker II
Education, Training and Experience:
- HS diploma or GED.
- Two (2) years of utilities related experiences, preferably in a municipality.
Licenses and Certificates:
- A valid Texas Class "C" Driver's License is required at the time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment.
- Possession of a valid Class I Wastewater Collection and Class “D” Water License issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
- Must obtain Class II Wastewater Collection OR Class “C” Water License issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) within 12 months of hire.
