Architectural Technologist
Location: Exeter (beautiful studio setting)
Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced architectural technologist looking to join a thriving studio known for delivering complex, high-value projects with a focus on technical excellence and design innovation?
Based in a beautifully located office in Exeter, you’ll work on ambitious projects that shape meaningful spaces and communities. You’ll play a key role in transforming design concepts into technically sound designs and collaborating closely with architects, consultants, and clients.
We welcome applications from both chartered and non-chartered technologists. However, you must have proven experience across all RIBA stages (0–7).
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of large, complex architectural projects.
- Produce accurate technical and construction drawings using Revit.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop technical designs and documentation.
- Manage planning and building regulations submissions.
- Attend site visits and liaise with contractors and consultants to ensure design intent is upheld.
- Ensure best practice use of Revit across project teams.
- Apply strong technical knowledge to develop robust, buildable, and sustainable solutions.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Architectural Technology or Architecture.
- Advanced Revit proficiency is essential.
- Experience across RIBA Stages 0–7.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Chartered status (MCIAT) is welcome but not required.
