As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible, professional presence. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and support a caring, teamwork-driven culture with integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor badges, and maintain accurate access records.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter, to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Communicate clearly with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy concerns, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
