Correcteur / Corrector : $30.53 ou/or $36.63 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

Requirements:

• The corrector must have a completed a BSc in biomolecular sciences, biochemistry, or related field, and must have exceptional, proven science communication skills.

Nature of Work:

• The corrector will be responsible for marking/evaluating student assignments (i.e. written and/or verbal feedback). The corrector may be asked to provide students with verbal and/or written clarification on course concepts. The corrector will be responsible for corresponding with instructors in written and spoken English and for completing tasks by assigned deadlines.
