What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or vendor authorization, and document activity in accordance with community guidelines and Allied Universal procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate security-related information to supervisors and/or local contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the community, including common areas, amenities, and perimeter locations, while observing and reporting unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Assist with enforcing property access rules and parking or amenity policies, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting an orderly residential environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
