Lead, Product Management

The Role: 

Entegris is seeking a product manager who is responsible for P&L (profit & Loss) performance for Photo POU (Point-Of-Use) product lines. Typical work environment is highly global (US, Japan, Taiwan, Korea collaboration) with frequent interaction with internal global teams. This position is located at the Entegris – Tokyo/Yonezawa, Japan.

In this role you will: 

The Photo Product Manager (PM) role is strategic, technical, global and cross-functional. PM interacts with multiple levels with various functions in Entegris and Customers, and owns P&L (Profit and Loss) performance responsibility for photo POU product lines. This role requires a calm-assertive demeanor and capability to manage multiple priorities. Within this role, the PACE value competencies are regularly required for success 

Primary responsibilities:  

• Business ownership - Own P&L performance for product lines, Drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and pricing strategy 

• New product development - Create business case and Define scope by collaborating with PMM (Product Marketing Manager), Applications and MTS 

• Cross-functional Leadership – Collaborate with RD to define development priorities and timelines, with Operations to ensure supply readiness and cost targets, with Quality to maintain high reliability and compliance standards, with sales team to enable customer success 

• Product Lifecycle Management – Manage product lifecycle from concept to end-of life, and oversee product positioning and competitive differentiation 

• Support Change management activities (Product Transfer, Obsoletion, New plant, Continuous improvement projects etc)

主な職務内容： 

• 事業責任 – 担当製品のP&Lパフォーマンスに責任を持ち、売上成長、利益率の改善、および価格戦略を担う 

• 新製品開発 – PMM（プロダクトマーケティングマネージャー）、アプリケーション、MTSと連携しながらビジネスケースを作成し、新製品開発の起案を行う 

• 部門横断でのリーダーシップ – 開発部門と連携し開発の優先順位とスケジュールを定め、製造部門と連携し供給体制とコスト目標の達成を確保し、品質部門と連携し高い信頼性とコンプライアンス基準を維持し、営業チームと連携してビジネス拡大を図る 

• 製品ライフサイクル管理 – 製品ライフサイクルを管理し、製品のポジショニングおよび競争優位性の確立を統括 

• 変更管理 – 製品移管、製品販売停止、新工場立上げ、改善プロジェクトなどの変更管理におけるビジネス戦略の立案、サポート 

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

Required Qualifications/Skills 

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Material Science or related field 

• Semi-industry, liquid filtration industry or/and product management experiences 

• English writng/speaking language skill 

• Strategic thinking and business acumen 

• Ability to clearly articulate features-benefits/risks of offerings, and data-driven decision making 

• Financial analysis, incl. basic discounted cash flow-based financial modeling (NPV, IRR, payback etc.)  

• Collaborative, and Influence without authority within cross-functional teams globally 

• An appetite to investigate the seemingly impossible and make a compelling case to move your vision forward 

• A commitment to be an evangelist for your products, services and messages 

• Can travel domestically and internationally 

• 化学、工学、材料科学または関連分野の学士号 

• 半導体業界、液体ろ過業界、または／およびプロダクトマネジメントの経験 

• 英語の読み書きおよび会話能力 

• 戦略的思考力およびビジネス感覚 

• 製品・サービスの特徴、利点／リスクを明確に説明できる能力、およびデータに基づいた意思決定力 

• 財務分析スキル（割引キャッシュフロー（DCF）に基づく基本的な財務モデリング：NPV、IRR、回収期間などを含む） 

• 協調性があり、グローバルな部門横断チーム内で権限に頼らず影響力を発揮できる能力 

• 一見不可能に思える課題にも挑戦し、自身のビジョンを実現するために説得力のある提案ができる意欲

• 国内外への出張が可能であること 

Preferred Qualifications  

• +3 years Lithography experience; especially working with leading fabs 

• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flow 

• Product management/technical marketng experieince  

• 3 年以上のリソグラフィ（露光）経験（特に最先端ファブでの勤務経験が望ましい） 

• 半導体製造フローに関する深い理解 

• プロダクトマネジメントまたはテクニカルマーケティングの経験
