Role Description

Your key responsibilities
The candidate is expected to;
- Be a hands-on engineering lead involved in analysis, design, design/code reviews, coding and release activities
- champion engineering best practices and guide/mentor team to achieve high performance.
- acquire functional knowledge of the business capability being digitized/re-engineered.
- Drive AI adoption for SDLC as well as solving business problems
Your skills and experience
Core Engineering
- Minimum 14 years of IT industry experience with strong hands-on expertise in Java and full-stack development
- Deep knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., ReactJS)
- Strong experience in databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL) and solid understanding of data modeling, performance optimization
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure) and containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, system design, and scalable architecture patterns
- Experience in DevOps and CI/CD practices (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), with focus on automation and reliabilit
- Strong focus on engineering quality (TDD, BDD, automation testing, performance testing)
- Hands-on or working knowledge of LLM-based applications and experience of building Agentic AI workflows using Spec Driven development with tools like OpenSpec etc
Leadership
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on leadership approach
- Experience working closely with Business stakeholders, Product Owners, Architects
