Project Info
The M80 Ring Road Alliance (comprising ACCIONA, MACA, and AECOM) has been selected to design and construct the M80 Ring Road Completion.
The project will deliver a major upgrade of the M80 Ring Road between the M80-Plenty Road interchange and the North East Link tunnel entrance at Watsonia, providing a seamless connection to North East Link. Works include the construction of 14 kilometres of new lanes, bulk earthworks, retaining walls, bridge structures, rail interface works, intelligent transport systems, urban design and landscaping. This diverse and challenging project will be complete in 2028.
About Opportunity
As Commercial Officer, you will provide administrative support to the Contracts, Procurement & Legal Manager and the wider commercial team on the M80 Ring Road Alliance. You will assist with contract administration, procurement activities and legal matters, working closely with project managers, finance, engineering and joint venture stakeholders to keep key processes running smoothly. This role reports to the Contracts, Procurement & Legal Manager and sits within the Commercial & Finance function.
Key accountabilities for the position will be:
- Provide day-to-day admin support for contracts and procurement
- Coordinate contract execution across joint venture parties via Docusign
- Support preparation and approval of award proposals
- Monitor contract deliverables and manage documentation
- Act as WebApp and Contract Express subject matter expert
- Run training sessions for approvers and system users
- Manage payment claim and notices inboxes for the team
Required Skills and Competencies
- Degree in law or a related field (desirable)
- Experience in contract or procurement administration
- Background on major construction projects (beneficial)
- Familiarity with SharePoint or similar document systems
- Strong organisational and communication skills
