Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Access Patrol in Newtown Square, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, members, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare administrative environment.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and inquiries, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
