Job Description

As a Security Officer Roving Patrol Guard in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or supervisors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access to the location and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity observed during patrols or routine rounds.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing required reports related to security-related incidents, patrol activity, and/or customer interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
