Location: Remote | Preference for candidates based in the Northeast, U.S.

We're hiring someone to rethink how our business operates using AI.
This isn't a traditional engineering or IT role. We're looking for a business-minded builder who can identify opportunities, solve complex operational problems, and turn AI into measurable business results.
You'll partner directly with our executive leadership team to improve how we market, sell, and deliver our services, while helping shape the next generation of our business. Sometimes you'll build. Sometimes you'll buy. Sometimes you'll manage outside partners. One constant will remain: you'll create real impact.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute our enterprise AI strategy and roadmap
Partner with leaders across the business to identify and implement high-impact AI solutions -
Improve and automate workflows across core business systems and client-facing platforms
Evaluate emerging technologies and determine when to build, buy, or integrate solutions -
Manage third-party consultants and development partners while building internal capabilities where appropriate
Help identify AI-powered products and capabilities that create long-term competitive advantage - Establish AI governance and responsible adoption across the organization
What You Have:
- 3+ years leading enterprise AI, automation, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives - Ideally in a small/midsize or larger start-up organization.
- Demonstrated success developing and implementing AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes at the enterprise level
- Strong understanding of today's AI ecosystem, including large language models, AI agents, workflow automation, APIs, and enterprise AI platforms
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and partnering with executive stakeholders, and if Education-Tech is in your background, we want to hear about it.
- Experience managing external implementation partners and making thoughtful build-versus-buy decisions
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and build, not simply direct
