Job Summary
As a Business/Product Analyst, you will support and work on enhancements for a variety of custom financial services applications. This is a hybrid position in Chicago on the Magnificent Mile.Job Description
We are looking for a Business/Product Analyst to provide end user support for multiple business applications, perform business process analysis, support feature development and modernization initiatives, and participate in quality assurance activities. This position will be full-time contract and hybrid in downtown Chicago (Magnificent Mile).

What You’ll Do
Provide end user support and triage for multiple business applications
Review, analyze, and document business processes, workflows, functional requirements, and user needs
Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, technology teams, controllers, and management to support project delivery
Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, answer questions, and resolve issues
Write and manage development stories and assist with project estimation activities
Track story progress, sprint allocation, milestones, and deadlines using Jira and related Atlassian tools
Perform quality assurance testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements and usability expectations
Extract and integrate data from various systems using ETL, BI, and AI tools to support reporting and analytics
Troubleshoot application and system issues and coordinate resolution efforts
Support deployment activities through Azure DevOps while ensuring compliance with change control processes
Assist with audit reporting using BI tools and SQL queries
Promote automation of repetitive support activities
Utilize AI-assisted tools to create simple test and automation scripts
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of business analyst experience
Minimum of 3 years of IT design and implementation experience
Experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements
Experience supporting applications and troubleshooting production issues
Knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
Experience with Jira or other Atlassian tools
Experience with SQL and data analysis
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Experience participating in quality assurance and testing activities
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Preferred:
Experience within financial services, investment management, or portfolio management environments
Understanding of investments, statistics, or statistical analysis
Experience with .NET applications and development environments
Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Portal
Experience with REST APIs, GitHub, and Power BI
Working knowledge of AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar code-generating LLMs
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings and collaborate with team members
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor, etc.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment with onsite attendance three days per week in Chicago, Tuesday through Thursday

$100,000 - $112,000 per yearThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
