Description
We’re looking for a detail‑driven and highly organized Accountant to join our finance team. We believe our success comes from helping others succeed, and that starts internally. We're looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys solving problems, and wants to be part of a close-knit finance function that keeps everything running smoothly.
Does that sound like you?
As our Accountant, your mission is to keep our financial house in order — from the general ledger to management reporting — so leadership can make confident, well-informed decisions. You'll own the day-to-day accounting, support month-end and year-end processes, and be the go-to person for financial questions across the business.
You'll work closely with our operations and Accounts teams, and you'll have the chance to bring your Excel expertise to the wider team — sharing knowledge, building better tools, and helping us keep improving how we work.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:
- Maintaining the full general ledger and preparing monthly trial balances
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving variances
- Assisting with annual financial statements
- Processing journal entries, accruals, prepayments and adjustments
- Managing fixed assets, depreciation schedules and asset registers
- Handling Accounts Payable and day-to-day transactions
- Supporting Accounts Receivable processes
- Processing monthly payroll and contractor payments
- Preparing management reports, variance analysis and commentary for leadership
- Monitoring cash flow, working capital and key financial metrics
- Spotting opportunities to improve our systems and workflows
- Providing insights to support budgeting and forecasting
WHAT WILL GET YOU AN INTERVIEW
Are you someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and doesn't let details slip through the cracks?
To be considered for an interview, you should have:
- Proven experience managing a full general ledger, reconciliations and month-end close
- Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and payroll processing
- Excellent Excel skills — you're comfortable being the person others come to for spreadsheet help
- A track record of producing clear, accurate management reports and variance analysis
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
It's a bonus if you also bring:
- Experience with Xero
- Knowledge of Australian GST and income tax
- Knowledge of U.S. federal and state income tax
- A genuine interest in supporting budgeting and forecasting
- A responsive, reliable communication style
- The flexibility to roll with changing priorities and processes
Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently while staying closely connected to the team.
WHY JOIN US
We know finance can be a quiet, behind-the-scenes function — but here, your work is genuinely valued. We're committed to giving you room to grow, the tools to do your job well, and a team that has your back. This is a full‑time remote position, working Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm PST (Philippine time) with availability for occasional meetings outside of the normal working hours.
If you're looking for a role where accuracy matters, your input is heard, and you can build a long-term career, we'd love to hear from you.
