Description
We are seeking a Senior Scientist with expertise in the development, optimization, and technical support of molecular biology products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and cross-functional R&D teams to drive innovation, product and process improvements, and ensure the highest standards of scientific excellence and product performance.
As a technical leader, you will provide scientific expertise to support manufacturing operations and product quality improvement initiatives. Working at the interface of R&D and Operations, you will lead technical investigations, solve complex scientific and manufacturing challenges, and implement data-driven solutions that improve product quality, process robustness, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and support manufacturing technologies and bioanalytical methods for molecular biology products.
- Transfer new products, methods, and technologies from R&D to Manufacturing, ensuring robust and scalable processes.
- Provide technical leadership for manufacturing support, product quality improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead technical investigations, perform root cause analyses, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) for manufacturing issues and customer complaints.
- Design, execute, and analyze validation, stability, robustness, and other product performance studies using appropriate statistical methods.
- Coordinate changes to product formulations, manufacturing processes, analytical methods, and related technical documentation through established change control processes.
- Analyze experimental and manufacturing data, prepare technical reports, and communicate findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Mentor junior scientists, contribute innovative ideas through scientific literature review, and ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience.
- Preferred Fields of Study: Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related scientific field.
- Extensive hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques, product development, and technology transfer to manufacturing.
- Experience designing and executing validation, stability, robustness, and other analytical studies using statistical tools.
- Proven ability to lead technical investigations, solve complex scientific problems, and implement effective solutions.
- Strong analytical, data interpretation, and communication skills.
Salary
€2 625–€3 937 gross/month

Compensation
The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €2 625,00–€3 937,50.
