Senior Salesforce Developer, 1099 6-Month Contract, Remote Work

Potential Extension: Yes, based on business needs and performance

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 range for 6 month contract period at 40 fixed hours per week.

What We Are Looking For: We are looking for someone who is technically strong enough to be given an established project or development requirement and confidently take the development work from there. The Senior Salesforce Developer will work alongside our existing Salesforce team and within our established development process. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide the advanced technical development expertise needed to successfully build and deliver Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Flows, and other Salesforce development tools
• Build and support Apex classes, triggers, batch and scheduled processes, asynchronous functionality, and appropriate test coverage
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot API integrations between Salesforce and third-party platforms
• Perform full-stack Salesforce development across the user interface, business logic, integration, and data layers
• Build technical solutions based on established requirements and independently execute assigned development work once priorities and direction are defined
• Troubleshoot, debug, optimize, and improve existing code, integrations, automations, and custom functionality
• Follow Salesforce development best practices related to scalability, security, maintainability, and governor limits
• Support testing, deployments, and post-deployment troubleshooting
• Participate in Scrum meetings and technical discussions and communicate progress, blockers, dependencies, and risks clearly
• Work cohesively within the existing Salesforce architecture, team structure, and established development processes
• Consistently complete assigned development work within established deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience with advanced knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce development patterns
• Experience building and maintaining REST and/or SOAP API integrations
• Strong understanding of Salesforce objects, relationships, permissions, automation, platform functionality, and governor limits
• Experience with full-stack Salesforce development, including triggers, asynchronous Apex, batch Apex, and scheduled Apex
• Experience with testing, debugging, deployments, production troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues
• Ability to take established technical requirements and independently execute development work with minimal oversight
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to consistently meet project deadlines
• Proven experience successfully completing Salesforce development projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Approximately 3–6 years of Salesforce development experience, although demonstrated skill and technical knowledge will be considered more important than tenure
• Salesforce Platform Developer certification(s)
• Salesforce Administrator certification
• Experience with Salesforce platform or application development
• Experience with complex API and third-party integrations
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience working in a Salesforce org with significant custom development and automation
• Portfolio, project examples, or demonstrated experience delivering advanced Salesforce development solutions
