Description
On behalf of our client, a newly established Online Gaming / Sweepstakes Casino company, we are seeking a dedicated
Compliance & Legal Affairs Supervisor to support our growing U.S. sweepstakes casino operations.
The role will be responsible for day-to-day compliance operations, including sweepstakes compliance, KYC/AML, age verification, geolocation, responsible gaming, payments, AMOE, and state-by-state operating requirements.
Previous experience with U.S. sweepstakes casino or social casino operations is strongly preferred. Candidates with relevant experience in iGaming, online casino, sports betting, fintech, or payments will also be considered.
This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to work closely with senior management and external U.S. legal counsel to build and develop the compliance framework for a growing U.S. sweepstakes gaming business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day compliance for U.S. sweepstakes casino operations.
- Maintain state-by-state operating restrictions in coordination with external legal counsel.
- Oversee KYC, AML, age verification, and customer due diligence processes.
- Manage geolocation compliance and restricted-state controls.
- Maintain Responsible Gaming and player-protection procedures.
- Oversee sweepstakes Official Rules and AMOE compliance.
- Support compliance and KYB requirements for banks, PSPs, game providers, and other partners.
- Monitor regulatory developments and enforcement activity affecting U.S. sweepstakes operators.
- Review promotions, bonuses, marketing campaigns, and new product features from a compliance perspective.
- Investigate and document compliance incidents and escalate material issues to management.
- Maintain compliance policies, records, controls, and regular management reporting.
- Coordinate with external U.S. legal counsel and translate legal guidance into operational requirements.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Compliance, Gaming, AML/KYC, Regulatory Operations, Fintech, Payments, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of KYC, AML, age verification, and operational compliance.
- Experience working in a regulated or compliance-sensitive digital business.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Product, Payments, Marketing, Finance, Customer Support, and Technology teams.
Preferred Experience:
- Direct U.S. sweepstakes casino experience is highly preferred, particularly knowledge of Gold Coin / Sweep Coin models, Sweepstakes Official Rules and AMOE, state restrictions and geolocation, KYC and age verification, Responsible Gaming, redemptions, payment compliance, and PSP/banking compliance.
- Experience in iGaming, online casino, sportsbook, fintech, or payments is also valuable.
- CAMS, CCEP, CRCM, or similar compliance certifications are a plus but not required.
