Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Baton Certified in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to passengers, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, transit facility policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, adjacent grounds, and perimeter areas, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, hazards, and/or policy violations, and report observations through established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, passenger concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and public agencies as needed.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
