-
Overnight safety and security: Conduct property checks as directed, monitor entrances and public areas, follow key-control procedures, and promptly report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or unusual activity. Follow hotel emergency procedures and contact management or emergency services when appropriate.
-
Cleaning and upkeep: Keep the front desk, lobby, public restrooms, coffee station, and other assigned areas clean, organized, and stocked. Tasks may include wiping surfaces, vacuuming, mopping, emptying trash, cleaning glass doors, and preparing fresh coffee.
-
Laundry and housekeeping support: Wash, dry, fold, and properly store hotel linens and towels. Keep the laundry area clean and organized, deliver guest supplies as needed, and assist with occasional guest-room cleaning when operationally necessary.
-
Shift communication and handover: Review the front desk log at the start of each shift. Clearly document guest concerns, maintenance requests, payment discrepancies, incidents, and unfinished tasks. Provide a thorough handover to the morning shift.
-
Hotel knowledge and teamwork: Maintain familiarity with room types, rates, hotel policies, amenities, loyalty programs, and nearby services. Treat guests and coworkers respectfully, follow management instructions, complete assigned checklists, and perform other related duties as needed.
