Description
Commissionaires BC is looking for security guards to join our casual on call Reserves Division team, working in Mission.
Availability: Monday - Friday, 0730 - 1530
Your Must-Haves:
Commissionaires BC is a Canadian, not-for-profit security/enforcement organization that has been in business since 1927. Our mandate is to give back to those who served and continue to serve in our communities and country. Commissionaires provides security services for over 200 sites and are located in over 110 communities across the province. Our client base runs from the Federal Government to local municipalities, airports, industrial sectors, and commercial/residential c entre providing valued customer service to the public.
Availability: Monday - Friday, 0730 - 1530
- Shifts will vary in times so flexibility in availability would be preferred.
Your Must-Haves:
- BC Security License
- Hold OFA 1
- Lived in Canada for 5+ years for clearance purposes
- Availability to work at a variety of sites and locations
- Excellent communication skills
- Escort individuals to and from Uncontrolled Areas
- Prior to entering the Restricted Area and/or Sterile Area, verify all Temporary Passes against Lost & stolen list
- Notify the correct parties when entering the facility and when leaving
- Ensure that Visual Contact is maintained while escorting construction workers using Temporary Passes
- Patrolling various sites/locations
- Offering first class customer service to both clients and general public
- CCTV Monitoring
- Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
- Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
- Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
