At PRESNow 24/7 Urgent and Emergency Care, the Assistant Nurse Manager plays a vital leadership role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care across both emergency and urgent care settings. This position is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, supporting and developing nursing staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Responsibilities:
The Assistant Nurse Manager supports the Nurse Manager in overseeing daily clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. This role assists with staff supervision, performance management, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance while serving as a clinical resource for the care team. The Assistant Nurse Manager partners with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality outcomes, operational efficiency, and a positive, patient-centered care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily clinical operations and workflow management to ensure quality, safety, and exceptional patient care.
- Assist with staff onboarding, coaching, scheduling, performance management, and professional development.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff, promoting evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
- Help ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and interdisciplinary teams to achieve departmental, operational, and patient experience goals.
Qualifications:
Licensure:
*State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required
Education
*Associate Degree
Academic Preparation:
*Degree from accredited academic nursing program
*BLS
