Job Description

The Asset Manager is responsible for the proper management, organization, governance, and preservation of the company's digital assets, ensuring their availability, quality, traceability, and compliance with internal guidelines and usage rights. This role works cross-functionally with creative, production, account, and project teams to ensure assets are managed efficiently throughout their lifecycle and that DAM platforms are used consistently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain digital assets within DAM systems, ensuring proper structure, metadata, and file integrity.

• Oversee asset upload, validation, and archiving processes to guarantee quality and consistency.

• Apply accurate metadata to optimize asset search, reuse, and version control.

• Manage asset permissions and usage rights, enforcing restrictions as needed.

• Maintain and support DAM platform functionality, adoption, and continuous improvement.

• Generate usage reports to inform strategic decisions and process optimization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish asset management standards and workflows.

• Support DAM migrations, implementations, and updates, including quality control and documentation.

• Provide user support and training to ensure effective DAM utilization.

• Process asset requests and track internal/external requirements per defined processes.

Qualifications

• 3 + years of experience in digital asset management within agencies, marketing, or corporate settings.

• Hands-on experience with DAM platforms such as Censhare or Xinet.

• Solid understanding of metadata, asset governance, and version control.

• Experience supporting tool adoption, process documentation, and user training.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time-management skills.

• Clear communicator able to collaborate effectively across teams.

• Professional, responsible, and quality-focused with a commitment to confidentiality.
