Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Credential Validation in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor screening activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with guests and team members, and help maintain a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and team members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, stockrooms, loading areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and potential hazards to site leadership.
• Help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior through a professional presence and timely reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess one or more years of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
