It’s an exciting time to join Ocean Spray’s Beverage Innovation team! We are looking for passionate business leaders who are looking for experience at all stages of the innovation cycle. Our team combines the best of big and small CPG, exploring new brands, categories, and capabilities for Ocean Spray. We need a thought leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, a ‘whatever it takes attitude’ and a commitment to profitable growth. The projects and workstreams will have immediate business impact, and you will truly become one of our team during your time together.
What You Will Do & What You Will Learn:
This role will expose you to emerging trends in food and beverage, brand building, and innovation thought leadership. You will be folded right in, developing cross-functional, collaborative relationships across your project team. Taking ownership is big at Ocean Spray, and there will be plenty of opportunities to be empowered to do so over your summer internship. You’ll own your own workstreams and report to an experienced Brand Manager. Responsibilities could include developing strategy to commercialize a new brand, building business cases through financial and qualitative exercises, supporting sales & marketing strategies, and developing new-to-the-world products and packaging. You’ll experience agile marketing while working within a company that operates in a legacy industry. And of course, you’ll sample a lot of food/drinks and have fun!
What You’ll Need:
Currently pursuing an MBA/Master’s degree and have completed the first year of the graduate program.
Good energy, consumer empathy, open-mindedness, a positive “can-do” mindset
Preferred 2+ years’ experience in CPG and its supporting industries (Brand, Agency, Insights, Sales, Finance, etc.)
Strong P&L mindset
Self-starter who isn’t afraid to find their own answers
Analytical, organized, with significant attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously
Confidence in presenting ideas and recommendations in front of Senior Leadership
Willingness to work in emerging Food & Beverage trends, including functional health.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Pay Range:
$23.00 - $30.00
Duration & Location:
- Position will start June 8, 2027, and run for 10-12 weeks.
- Traditional work week but with summer Fridays 8:00am-12:30pm; flexibility and off-site work may be required for project travel, experimental test runs, customer discovery.
- Interns will have the opportunity to participate in multiple events throughout the summer including leadership panels, a day of fun in Boston and learning sessions from various business functions.
- This position will be located at our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA (about 45 minutes South of Boston – Exit 6 off of Rte 495). If necessary, this internship can be facilitated virtually.
