What you'll do...

Walmart+ provides an essential membership to Walmart customers, with benefits including free delivery, gas savings, streaming content, early access to promotions and exclusive offers, mobile scan and go, and more. The Walmart+ Benefits Excellence team serves as a voice of the member across Walmart+ benefit experiences. We identify the experience pain points that most impact members, understand why the experience is falling short, and influence cross-functional operating teams to improve how members experience their benefits. Our work brings together member feedback, operational performance, and behavioral data to develop clear recommendations that improve member trust, engagement, and loyalty. We are hiring a Senior Manager to help shape the future of Walmart+ benefit experiences. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous customer problems, developing an informed point of view, and influencing teams across a large and matrixed organization to act.
What You’ll Do…
• Identify and prioritize meaningful member experience opportunities by combining member feedback, behavioral and operational data, business priorities, and knowledge of how Walmart+ benefits operate. • Translate insights into clear recommendations, including the member problem, size of the opportunity, root causes, potential solutions, tradeoffs, and expected impact. • Deeply diagnose member problems and their root causes by understanding the end-to-end customer experience including the supporting systems and capabilities to determine the problem root causes across UX and process design, product, or operations. • Develop hypotheses backed by data evidence to determine why member needs are not being met and where changes could create the greatest member and business impact. • Build data-driven business cases that help cross-functional partners and leaders make informed decisions about priorities, solutions, and investment. • Influence product, operations, business, analytics, and other partner teams to improve member experiences, often without direct ownership of their roadmaps or resources. • Partner with teams through solution development and implementation, ensuring the original member problem remains central, and that proposed changes meaningfully address the underlying need. • Define how success should be measured, connecting operational improvements to changes in member experience, behavior, engagement, and loyalty. • Synthesize complex information for senior leaders, communicating the most important insights, decisions, risks, and recommendations clearly and succinctly. Skills to be Effective… • You are deeply customer- and member-oriented, with a strong instinct to understand not only what went wrong, but why it matters to the person experiencing it. You are a structured and curious problem solver who can bring clarity to ambiguous problems and develop thoughtful hypotheses from incomplete information. • You combine analytical rigor with strong judgment, knowing when the available evidence is sufficient to form a point of view and when deeper investigation is needed. • You are comfortable moving between member feedback, operational processes, and quantitative data to understand an experience end-to-end. • You can develop a clear recommendation rather than simply presenting data or performance metrics, and you are comfortable explaining the assumptions and tradeoffs behind your thinking. • You are an effective influencer without authority, building trust with partners while constructively challenging teams to improve the member experience. • You communicate complex ideas clearly, succinctly, and persuasively through writing, presentations, and live discussion with senior leaders. • You think in systems, recognizing how product, process, policy, technology, and operational decisions interact to shape the member experience. • You thrive in ambiguity and change and are energized by solving problems where ownership spans multiple teams. • You can balance strategic thinking with enough attention to detail to ensure recommendations are grounded in how the business and member experience actually work.
Preferred Qualifications… • 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, product management, customer experience, or a related field. • Demonstrated experience using quantitative and qualitative insights to diagnose complex customer or operational problems and develop recommendations. • Experience influencing cross-functional teams in a large, matrixed organization. • Experience partnering with analytics, data science, product, and/or operations teams. • Strong executive communication skills, including written narratives, presentations, and data-driven recommendations.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
