What You'll Do

• Manage a full caseload of workers’ compensation defense cases with varying levels of complexity.
• Develop litigation strategies and case plans.
• Prepare budgets and case management plans when needed.
• Conduct discovery and analyze case information.
• Draft motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Prepare cases for hearings and trials.
• Represent clients during court appearances and legal proceedings.
• Negotiate effectively with opposing counsel and involved parties.
• Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the litigation process.

What You Need

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• Active California Bar admission.
• 5+ years of experience defending workers’ compensation cases.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload.
