Position Summary:
The Senior Strategy Analyst supports the organization’s strategic planning and enterprise initiatives by providing rigorous market, financial, and operational analysis. Working closely with Chief Executive Officer and in collaboration with senior leaders, this role delivers data-driven insights that inform executive decision making and long-term priorities. The role serves as a senior individual contributor, responsible for developing analyses, models, and materials that support executive and Board-level discussions, while ownership of strategic direction and final decision making remains with executive leadership.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct qualitative and quantitative market, competitive, and industry analyses related to growth, access, and service line strategy.
Develop financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to evaluate strategic options, risks, and trade-offs.
Prepare executive-ready analyses, presentations, and briefing materials to support senior leadership and Board discussions.
Support enterprise strategic planning processes, including annual and multi-year planning cycles and strategic initiative development.
Collaborate with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to gather data, validate assumptions, and assess feasibility of strategic options.
Track strategic initiatives, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs); synthesize updates for leadership review.
Apply structured analytical approaches to test assumptions and strengthen the quality of decision support provided to leadership.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of healthcare market trends, competitive dynamics, and organizational performance.
Develop and maintain financial and operational models to support evaluation of strategic initiatives and investments.
Produce clear, accurate analytical summaries and presentation materials suitable for executive and Board consumption. • Support enterprise strategy development by coordinating inputs, analyzing data, and synthesizing findings for leadership. • Collaborate across departments to collect relevant information, clarify assumptions, and assess strategic feasibility.
Monitor progress against strategic goals and KPIs and report findings to leadership as directed.
Manage assigned analytical projects and workplans to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Maintain awareness of healthcare industry, market, and regulatory developments relevant to organizational strategy.
