Full-Time | Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner | 2+ Years of Women's Health Experience
Together Women's Health (TWH) is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our physician-led OB/GYN network as a full-time Metro Detroit Support APP.
This unique position provides the opportunity to support multiple established private practices throughout Metro Detroit while enjoying the stability, benefits, and career growth of a permanent full-time role.
As a Metro Detroit Float APP, you'll become a trusted clinical partner helping support provider leaves of absence, planned vacations, practice growth, and patient access across our network. Rather than being assigned to a single office, you'll build relationships with multiple physician teams while delivering exceptional women's healthcare throughout the region.
While this position is ideally suited for a Physician Assistant, experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to apply.

Schedule
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Clinic hours typically range between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
- Most scheduled shifts are 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Occasional Saturday morning clinic coverage (typically one half-day per month and no more than two as needed)
- Travel limited to Together Women's Health practice locations throughout Metro Detroit, MI
Position Summary
The Metro Detroit Support APP provides comprehensive outpatient women's healthcare while supporting multiple physician-led OB/GYN practices during:
- Provider leaves of absence
- Planned vacations
- Practice growth
- Temporary staffing needs
- Schedule coverage
This position helps ensure continuity of care while providing flexibility across our growing network of Metro Detroit practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform annual well-woman examinations
- Provide preventive women's healthcare services
- Diagnose and manage common gynecologic conditions
- Provide contraceptive counseling and management
- Insert and remove intrauterine devices (IUDs)
- Provide prenatal and postpartum care
- Perform routine office procedures within scope of practice
- Educate patients regarding preventive care and wellness
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while adapting to multiple practice environments
Qualifications
Required
- Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA) preferred
- Experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioners will also be considered
- Active Michigan license or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum of two years of Women's Health or OB/GYN clinical experience
- Experience practicing in an outpatient OB/GYN setting
- Ability to travel between Together Women's Health Metro Detroit practice locations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within physician-led teams

- Experience performing common outpatient women's health procedures
- Comfortable working in fast-paced clinical environments
