Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of software engineering, DevSecOps, platform engineering, compliance, developer experience, and regulated medical software development practices.
  • Act as the primary voice of customers and internal engineering organizations by conducting continuous discovery, user research, listening sessions, VOC activities, interviews, and usage analysis to understand unmet needs and opportunities.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams across the organization to understand delivery challenges, developer productivity barriers, compliance pain points, and platform modernization opportunities.
  • Translate strategic business and engineering needs into clear product outcomes, value propositions, roadmaps, epics, features, and user stories.
  • Lead portfolio prioritization decisions across platform capabilities including CI/CD, release automation, continuous testing, developer experience, compliance automation, SOUP/SBOM management, infrastructure automation, observability, AI-assisted software delivery, and engineering metrics.
  • Drive product investments based on measurable customer outcomes, engineering productivity improvements, delivery performance metrics, platform utilization, and compliance effectiveness.
  • Establish and monitor success metrics such as deployment frequency, lead time, pipeline performance, release cycle time, compliance cycle time, developer satisfaction, platform adoption, and operational efficiency.
  • Build compelling business cases and data-driven recommendations to influence investment priorities, product strategy, and portfolio decisions.
  • Own and continuously refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while balancing customer needs, technical debt, platform reliability, compliance requirements, and operational priorities.
  • Work closely with Architecture, Security, Quality, Compliance, and Engineering leaders to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned to enterprise standards.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to define product increments, quarterly objectives, and release priorities that maximize customer value and organizational impact.
  • Facilitate product discovery, roadmap reviews, design sessions, backlog refinement, and stakeholder alignment activities across a broad and diverse set of customers.
  • Champion platform adoption by identifying onboarding friction, supporting migration strategies, and improving customer engagement models to maximize successful outcomes.
  • Drive innovation opportunities related to AI-enabled software development lifecycle capabilities, engineering intelligence, compliance automation, and developer productivity tooling.
  • Operate as a thought leader for platform engineering and developer experience practices, helping shape the future of software delivery across GE HealthCare.
  • Mentor Product Managers, TPMs, Product Owners, and other product leaders on product discovery, outcome-based planning, backlog management, and Agile product management practices.
  • Influence executive stakeholders through clear communication, strategic storytelling, data-driven insights, and well-articulated product strategies.
  • Demonstrate expert-level Agile Product Management capabilities and serve as a coach for outcome-oriented product development and continuous customer discovery.
