Distribution Sales Manager – Fire Detection Nordics

At Johnson Controls, we are looking for a commercially driven Distribution Sales Manager – Fire Detection Nordics to grow our distribution business for our industry-leading FireClass and ZETTLER fire detection and life safety product portfolio across the Nordic region.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through our distributor network, developing strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering profitable growth throughout the Nordic market. You will work closely with distributors, customers, and regional sales teams to expand the reach of Johnson Controls Fire Detection solutions and strengthen our position as a trusted provider of life safety technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the Nordic distribution network for Johnson Controls Fire Detection products and solutions.
• Drive sales growth and market penetration of the FireClass and ZETTLER fire detection portfolio through distributors and channel partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, system integrators, consultants, and key customers.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities to increase adoption of Johnson Controls fire detection systems across the Nordic market.
• Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with distribution partners.
• Monitor sales performance, pipeline development, and forecast accuracy.
• Conduct comprehensive product and commercial training sessions focused on Johnson Controls fire detection technologies and applications to enhance partner capabilities and sales success.
• Actively participate in marketing events, exhibitions, and customer-facing activities to promote Johnson Controls Fire Detection solutions and strengthen brand visibility.
• Collaborate closely with local Business Development Managers and Regional Sales Managers to drive growth across the region.
• Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to support future business and product strategies.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, channel sales, distribution management, or business development.
• Experience selling fire detection products, fire alarm systems, life safety solutions, building technologies, security solutions, or other technical solution-based offerings.
• Understanding of the fire detection market and the ability to position Johnson Controls Fire Detection solutions effectively through distribution channels.
• Proven ability to develop successful distributor and partner relationships.
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of delivering sales growth.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel across the Nordic region and internationally on a regular basis (up to 60-70% of the time).
