Telesales Executive

The Opportunity

Our client is a successful waste management business with a mixed fleet, covering the South West from a number of sites across Gloucester, Bristol and Cheltenham and Bath. A strong Sales Director, a good culture and a business that is genuinely growing. If you have waste or sales experience, we want to hear from you.

They are looking for a Telesales Executive to join their growing sales team and generate new business across the region. This is a proactive outbound sales role, where you will identify prospective customers, build relationships and convert opportunities into new business.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Making outbound calls to prospective business customers
• Generating and qualifying new sales opportunities
• Identifying customer requirements and recommending suitable solutions
• Building relationships with decision makers
• Following up leads and maintaining your pipeline
• Preparing quotes and closing new business
• Working towards monthly new business targets
• Keeping accurate records of activity and opportunities

You will be selling a broad Total Waste Management proposition, including general and food waste, recycling, confidential shredding and other commercial waste services.

About You

We are looking for someone who enjoys outbound sales and winning new business. Waste experience is not essential. We are open to people from any relevant B2B service-led sales environment, including:

• Waste and recycling
• Facilities Management
• Security
• Cleaning and hygiene
• Environmental Services
• Logistics
• Telecoms
• Business Services
• Managed Services

Relevant backgrounds could include Telesales Executive, Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, Internal Sales Executive, Sales Consultant or Account Manager with a strong new business focus.

You will need to be confident on the phone, commercially driven, resilient and comfortable creating opportunities from scratch.

• £28,000 to £30,000 basic salary
• Uncapped commission
