As a Test Automation Lead, a typical day involves spearheading the evolution of testing practices to establish a seamless and efficient quality engineering process. The position requires driving innovation in testing strategies, fostering continuous improvement, and ensuring that testing efforts are predictive and intelligent. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead initiatives to improve testing frameworks and automation strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and guide team members to develop their skills and ensure alignment with quality objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to integrate testing processes with development and operations teams.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, quality metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Axway Specialized Tools.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable test automation solutions.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and develop innovative testing approaches.
- Familiarity with quality engineering principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in test design and execution.
