The HR Operations Specialist is responsible for day to day HR Operations tasks, ensuring timely and accurately execution, while driving continuous improvement, compliance, and employee experience.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Operational Excellence & Process Enhancement
• Independently manage complex employee lifecycle processes, including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, contract renewals, promotions, transfers, and government relevant processes, with compliance and accurate execution
• Maintain and update HR system data(Workday, WorkLife, Service Now, T&A, etc); lead or support system-related projects, including new process design, process optimization and troubleshooting
• Identify and drive process improvements to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency
• Serve as a Tier 1 HR contacts, providing expert guidance to employees on HR policies, processes, systems, and benefits, ensuring prompt resolution of daily cases
• Lead or participate in process improvement and employee experience enhancement projects, proposing actionable recommendations
Inquiry Management & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Act as first contact for employee lifecycle inquiries, ensuring timely and professional response.
• Work closely with HRBP, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of lifecycle processes.
• Serve as focal contact for employee lifecycle questions, aiming to provide prompt and professional responses.
• Other operational support or ad hoc assignments from manager
Compliance & Data Management
• Assist all internal and external audit requirements for HR related activities, including all required government reports and submissions on time.
• Ensure strict compliance with local regulations and maintain interactions with relevant authorities.
• Conduct data analysis for HR operations and provide insights for decision-making
• Input and update accurate and timely employee records in HR systems.
The essential requirements of the job include:
• Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Human Resources, Management, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of HR operations experience; multinational company experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of China labor law and related regulations; hands-on experience in HR Operations
• Proficient in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow), with strong data management, analysis, and workflow optimization skills
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
• Fluent in English and Chinese
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure
