About the role
The Finance Business Partner (FBP), Supply Chain for Southeast Asia & Taiwan (SEAT), is responsible for providing financial performance management, planning, forecasting, and business partnering support across the SEAT QSC.
The role acts as a key finance partner to Quality & Supply Chain (QSC) leadership, Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), manufacturing sites, and End-to-End (E2E) Market CSC teams to drive financial performance, operational efficiency, productivity, inventory optimization, and strategic decision making across the region.
A day in the life
Financial Controllership & Month-End Close
- Lead and coordinate SEAT QSC month-end closing activities for HQ, CMO, and total QSC financial performance.
- Manage freight closing processes across 6 SEAT markets and 2 manufacturing sites, ensuring accurate accruals, validations, and journal postings.
- Review and validate total SEAT QSC P&L, operating profit, working capital, and inventory results.
- Partner with Controllership & Compliance (C&C) teams to ensure timely and compliant financial reporting.
- Support balance sheet reviews and monthly financial governance activities.
- Provide financial commentary and variance explanations for operating results and key financial metrics.
Planning, Forecasting & Financial Reporting
- Lead monthly CMF (Current Month Forecast) updates for SEAT Supply Chain HQ and CMO operations, consolidating forecasts from sites, CMOs, and E2E markets, ensuring robust assumptions, risk assessments, and opportunity identification
- Consolidate financial performance across manufacturing sites and end-to-end market operations.
- Support Annual Business Planning (ABP), Long Range Planning (LRP), and Standard Cost Setting (FLIP) processes.
- Perform target setting across key financial metrics including Operating Profit, COGS, Working Capital, Inventory, Productivity Savings
- Monitor forecast accuracy and drive financial alignment with stakeholders.
- Perform BISON and SIERA systems submissions and validations for financial forecasts.
SEAT QSC Finance Business Partnering
- Serve as finance partner to:
- SEAT QSC leadership
- End-to-End (E2E) market supply chain teams
- Support financial evaluations, business cases, and investment appraisals for SEAT Supply Chain initiatives.
- Provide financial analysis for:
- Productivity programs
- Inventory initiatives
- New Product Introduction (NPI) COGs analysis
- Sourcing decisions
- Conduct benchmarking and profitability analyses to identify operational improvement opportunities.
SEAT CMO Finance Business Partnering
- Finance Lead for SEAT CMO operations, partnering with Procurement and CMO teams to deliver productivity and cost-saving initiatives.
- Lead CMO financial planning cycles, including CMF, ABP, and LRP, ensuring delivery of financial targets and forecast accuracy.
- Lead financial evaluation and business cases for sourcing strategies, network optimization, and CMO investment decisions.
- Own annual standard cost setting and cost governance across the CMO portfolio.
- Provide financial insights on savings delivery, inflation management, and operational performance to support strategic decision-making
Performance Management & Productivity
- Consolidate and track SEAT QSC productivity, Value for Growth (V4G) savings, and cost improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and update SEAT QSC scorecards, Wider Asia KPIs, and Power BI performance dashboards.
- Support Supply Chain leadership with financial performance reporting and executive-level communications.
- Monitor productivity bridges and ensure delivery of savings commitments.
Inventory & Working Capital Management
- Lead annual inventory target setting, deploying DIO and inventory targets across SEAT markets and manufacturing sites and securing stakeholder sign-off.
- Monitor monthly inventory and working capital performance, analyze key movement drivers, and identify risks and opportunities versus Plan and Forecast
- Own inventory reporting and provide monthly updates, insights, and recommendations through the regional S&OP process.
- Develop and maintain inventory dashboards and analytical tools to enhance visibility, forecasting, and decision-making.
Systems, Data & Process Improvement
- Act as finance subject matter expert for QSC finance systems including BISON, Siera, and SAP.
- Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support financial data governance and reporting accuracy.
- Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on financial processes and reporting requirements.

- Deliver committed productivity and savings targets through procurement, value engineering, sourcing, and network optimization initiatives.
- Drive forecast accuracy and proactive risk/opportunity management across markets, sites, and CMO operations.
- Improve inventory and working capital performance through target deployment and optimization programs.
- Provide high-quality financial insights that influence business decisions and strategic investments.
- Foster strong stakeholder partnerships across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Markets, Sites, and CMO partners.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, governance, reporting, and digital analytics capabilities.
