We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Strategy Manager to join the team. The Marketing Strategy Manager is responsible for building a deep understanding of key customer audiences, delivering marketing strategies across segments that deliver distinctive customer experiences, business results and a strong return on marketing investment.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Auckland. This is a hybrid position with three days in the office and two days where you can work flexibly.
What are the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?
- Understanding the behaviours, journeys and channels of key audiences to design, develop & deliver marketing strategies
- Working closely with stakeholders and agency partners to ensure propositions and experiences are distinctive and deliver to customer needs, consulting on customer perceptions, expectations and opportunities
- Leading the development of annual and quarterly marketing plans and supporting the development of investment strategies and optimisation
- Developing strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders to turn business priorities into clear marketing plans
- Utilising data, measurement and the optimisation of activity for continuous improvement and strengthen ROMI results
- Working as part of a high performance team, leaning into creativity and challenges - proactively identifying opportunities and experimentation

You will also have:
- 5+ years’ experience in Marketing and Communications
- Passion for customer experience, strong strategic thinking, and experience in turning data, research and insights into clear marketing opportunities
- Be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively as part of team and autonomously
- Experience in financial services / fintech preferable
