Who You Are:
The Associate Supply Planner is an early-career role and a highly visible role responsible for supporting day-to-day supply operations to include production planning for segment, capacity and inventory planning, and production order management to ensure customer order fulfillment and on-time delivery. The Associate Planner position is accountable for Nutrabolt’s Fill Rate and Gross Inventory levels.What You're Good At:
Assist in developing supply plans at multiple levels of aggregation to drive alignment between demand and supply
Review inventory profile and recommend purchase orders with assigned suppliers to manage appropriate inventory levels at our DC’s
Help actively maintain planning parameters within MRP to optimize inventory turn goals while balancing cost, service, and delivery
Work with purchasing and sourcing to review vendor allocations monthly and make changes as needed based on long-term goals and strategies
Support and collaborate with purchasing to identify and mitigate gaps; devise an early warning system for issue identification; and develop contingency plans to improve service in a timely manner
Maximize inventory performance by partnering cross-functionally with Commercial and Supply Chain partners to develop and execute appropriate course(s) of action for product launches, product rollouts, inventory shortages, excess inventory and end-of-life product disposition
Ensure timely communication regarding inventory levels and key performance indicators to raise awareness of inventory issues and influence supply chain performance
Participate and present in the monthly S&OP process with vendors and 3PL partners by providing reporting, root cause analysis, slide preparation, and KPI comments as required
Initiate transfer orders to balance the network and mitigate risk
Constantly pursue process improvement to achieve high performance results
What You Contribute:
BA degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
APICS or Six Sigma certification is preferred, not required
1-3 years of related professional and progressive experience in supply chain in a global company with diverse product and sourcing portfolios
Min 1-3 years’ experience in supply planning, demand planning, or similar position required
Exceptional organizational and planning skills
Basic communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather dates and a high attention to detail
Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers
Strong sense of urgency and results orientation
Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel
Basic knowledge of descriptive statistics, forecasting, or demand planning preferred
