OVERVIEW
Releady is partnering with a healthcare technology client that builds and runs the technology platforms for one of the largest nonprofit health plans in the United States, to hire a Senior Manager to lead the delivery of its commercial and growth programs. This leader will own a dedicated pillar within an enterprise Complex Programs & Mandates organization, which runs the initiatives that are too complex, too cross-platform, or too high-stakes for any single platform team to own alone.
The Senior Manager will be the single accountable owner for the health plan's commercial and growth initiatives, including new product launches, market and membership expansion, and programs that change how employer groups, brokers, and members are served. The role leads a team of Technical Delivery Leads, runs governance directly with health plan and technology executives, and ensures that every program in the portfolio is chartered, sequenced, and delivered with predictable, decision-ready reporting.

- Compensation: $85–$95/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Ownership & Delivery
• Serve as the single accountable owner for cross-platform commercial and growth programs, from charter and kickoff through rollout and go-live.
• Partner with health plan business owners to translate commercial strategy, product changes, and growth targets into scoped, sequenced delivery plans.
• Determine which initiatives require end-to-end enterprise leadership and which should run through standard portfolio governance.
• Coordinate dependencies, timelines, and team capacity across multiple platform teams and third-party vendors.
Governance & Executive Reporting
• Run the pillar's governance cadence, including weekly cross-platform working sessions, weekly execution forums with business and technology leads, and bi-weekly executive reviews.
• Deliver clear weekly status, top risks, and decisions needed to senior leadership, and manage escalations through a defined resolution model.
• Maintain program discipline through charters, RACI matrices, rollout plans, RAID logs, and action trackers, with full requirement traceability from intake through delivery.
People Leadership
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Delivery Leads, including capacity planning, talent allocation, and mid-year and annual performance reviews.
• Monitor delivery KPIs across the portfolio and recommend adjustments that protect business outcomes and timelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 7+ years of experience in technical program, delivery, or engineering program management, including leadership of multi-team, cross-platform programs.
• 3+ years of experience managing delivery leads, program managers, or project managers.
• Demonstrated experience presenting status, risk, and tradeoffs to senior business and technology executives.
• Strong command of agile delivery, backlog management, and program governance artifacts such as charters, RACI matrices, and RAID logs.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendors as part of large implementations.
• Health plan or payer experience is strongly preferred, particularly in commercial lines of business such as large group, small group, individual, or group Medicare.
• Experience utilizing AI/ML concepts and tools in a professional setting is strongly is preferred.
