Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Reception Services in Quakertown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):

• Candidates must demonstrate prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee badges.

Alarm Panel Experience (B202):

• Experience with alarm panel systems is required. Candidates should be able to operate, troubleshoot, and respond to alarm systems effectively.

Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):

• Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications and performing basic troubleshooting.

CPR Certification:

• Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification. This certification should be current and recognized by a reputable organization. Free training is provided by Allied Universal for those who do not have certification.

Customer Service Experience (B219):

A background in customer service is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues.

Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123):

• All candidates must possess a valid Australian driver's license that complies with the Australian Driver Policy Requirements (C123).
• Candidates are required to provide a copy of their valid driver's license during the application process.
• The license must be free of any restrictions that would prevent the candidate from performing their job duties effectively.

Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124):

• Candidates must also hold a valid driver's license issued in the state where the job will be performed, in accordance with the In Job State requirements (C124).
• A copy of the state-issued driver's license must be submitted as part of the pre-employment documentation.
• The license must be current and valid for the duration of employment.

Loss Prevention (B210):

• Experience in loss prevention strategies and practices is required. Candidates should be knowledgeable about theft prevention techniques and loss mitigation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk of a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor, driver, and vendor credentials, maintaining visitor records, and directing individuals according to site policies.
• Answer phones, receive deliveries and communications, and provide clear directions or information to authorized personnel and guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor front-desk activity and report unusual activity, access concerns, or security-related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
