Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineering Student to join Central Engineering SW & AI team and contribute to the development of software solutions, automation tools, and AI-enabled engineering applications.

The role includes designing, implementing, testing and maintaining software components, participating in proof-of-concept activities, and supporting projects that improve engineering productivity and workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

​Requirements

• B.Sc. student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. M.Sc. is an advantage.
• At least 2 semesters remaining before graduation.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Good understanding of software development principles and object-oriented design.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Advantages

• Experience with AI, LLMs, RAG, or machine learning.
• Experience with web development, frontend frameworks and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL.
• Experience with Docker, containers or cloud technologies.
• Personal, academic or open-source software projects.
